Here are some suggestions on how to make the most out of choosing the right place for your outdoor wedding experience. 

One of the most important things to consider is, of course, where the wedding will take place. The location of the wedding is very important since, more often than not, it is the centerpiece and focal point of an outdoor wedding. However, when planning a marriage ceremony outside, make sure that it will be convenient not only for the bride and groom but also for the guests especially if it is a big wedding. If there are a lot of guests, make sure that the space is big enough for everyone and that people will not be too crowded. 

Also, although the wedding will intentionally be outside, it would be safe to choose a venue that has amenities not only for outdoors but also for indoors as well. The weather can be very unpredictable and when it doesn’t cooperate, it can ruin what would have been a perfect outdoor wedding. So to play safe and be ever ready, prepare a back up indoors, where people can stay, or better yet, get a tent which can be used so that the nuptials can still proceed outdoors even if the weather isn’t bright and sunny (although a little extra shower wouldn’t hurt!). Some times a unique wedding idea may not be very practical.

When you have chosen a good unique wedding location for the wedding, another thing to consider is whether the venue is used to holding weddings or not. If the location you have chosen is used to holding weddings, you would not have as much of a problem. However, there are venues which are not used to holding weddings. Some venues may require a permit or a formal letter before permission for its use, while others may be more limiting in terms of the number of people they would allow, or the kinds of foods (specifically beverages) they would like served in the area.

Some might not have certain amenities such as parking, extra tables or long tables for the food, rest rooms, light or sound systems, of which case you should look for ways to go around these. In other cases, as in the case of a natural wedding, unwanted pests or insects can be a problem and which you should address before the wedding.  This is why outdoor weddings need exploration and careful planning, so that you can foresee what other things will be needed and should be worked on. Make an effort to tie all of the loose ends, before tying the knot. If you prepared well enough, you will have an unique wedding ceremony many will envy and never forget!
